Edited by: Viktor Fyretracker on 15/06/2009 23:50:56 i prefer to jetcan mine, but i also dualbox with another character in an orca and the jet can open on that PC as well. of something i dont like shows up on my overview that can is empty.
i see EVE as working like reality, you wouldnt pull out a stack of $100s in a Harlem subway station would you?, as such one shouldn't ever make it too clear they have something of high value in EVE when not in a ship that can take the first punch and then return the favor, or a ship like a DST or blockade runner which takes the punch and gets the hell outa dodge. |

Everyone is different in the game and it is what makes EVE special.
I understand EVE is like the wild wild west...but it is still a game. and behavior in game needs to have consequences. Currently there are no consequences for Corp thieves, Alliances spies (they will just sell the alt once done).
actions need consequnces.
Not really any consequence for can flipping, although I did get a good fight out of it once, when I was bored enough to mine in high sec. Most players mining arent prepared to fight. They are in their exhumers or barges with someone else in a indy. SOmeone comes along and flips your can...there goes 20 minutes of your life down the drain. Can flipping is against the LAW in high sec. There should be consequences, like concord of something.
Then volunteer to police for consequences. CONCORD can't be everywhere at the same time and their policing is limited. You can get down the profile of these criminals and report them to your friends so that bounty can be put on their heads and you can legally hunt them down for justice! Do what Wyatt Earp did in 1800's!
you know this gives me an idea for a suggestion to CCP, people who are above a certain security rating can buy a "CONCORD Deputy License" which would allow them to shoot criminals in low sec space without any sec loss(ships only unless player is -5 and then normal rules are open for podding). sort of in the vein of how a wild west law man would get together a posse to hunt criminals.

yea sellable kill rights would be great for Industrialists who lack combat skill but have the ISK to hire some hitmen. not to mention it could add a new mechanic to the game. going to the contracts screen and buying up contracts on people's heads
